TRAINING, EDUCATION & CREDENTIALS
Magda Hayton
MS · CCC · BC-TMH · CCTP-II
Magda Hayton is a psychotherapist whose path to clinical work was not direct. Magda spent years as a medieval scholar — earning a PhD at the University of Toronto, researching, publishing, and teaching across disciplines. She came to clinical work with a researcher's instinct: read carefully, sit with complexity, and resist easy conclusions. Her clinical training since has been deliberate and cumulative, built around trauma, its neurobiological underpinnings, and the ways it shows up for people who often least expect it.
